We had over 20 people attend our Zumba Fundraiser on Saturday. We raised $700 for the Senior Centers! Thank you to everyone who participated.

The Friends of the Senior Centers would like to thank all of you that attended our Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, July 19th. We had a great turnout and a lot of fun. See you on August 16th at 1101 Bathtub Row (great room at the Betty Ehart Center) from 8-11am for more pancakes and burritos!

Rock concert tonight from 7-9pm, with the High Mesa Players. Entry only a $10 donation. Come out tonight, enjoy great music, frito pie, mocktails and more, while supporting the Senior Centers of Los Alamos. All are welcome, a family friendly event and location (Crossroads, next door to East Park Pool).

Are you getting ready to do spring cleaning but are unsure how to put your unwanted items to the best use? Consider donating them to the Friends of the Senior Centers!

FOSC is preparing for the 2nd Annual Savers FUNdraiser
to benefit the Senior Activity Centers!

Step 1: What items are we collecting?
1. Clothes: men’s, women’s, & children’s clothes including coats, shoes, scarves, handbags, wallets, fashion accessories, belts, and backpacks.
2. Household textiles: bedding, comforters, blankets, sheets, towels, linen, tablecloths, curtains, and pillows.
3. Small household goods: kitchen items (pots, pans, dishes, silverware, glasses, serving pieces and hand-held appliances), home decorative items, knick-knacks, toys, games, and small electronics.
4. Books & Media: paperbook and hard cover (all genres) - no encyclopedias or textbooks.
Step 2: How to pack your donation
Clothes & Household textiles should be put into plastic garbage bags.
Small household goods should be tightly packed in cardboard boxes.
Books & Media should be packed in cardboard boxes.
Important note: Please keep household goods & media separate.
Make sure to label as either household goods or media!

Step 3: Drop off your donation
We have donation drop off hours at Betty Ehart Senior Activity Center
(1101 Bathtub Row) and White Rock Senior Activity Center (133 Longview Drive)
on the following days:
All items must be clean and in sellable condition.
