We are Ethiopian American physicians, multi-specialty who live throughout the USA.

Most of us attended medical school in Ethiopia.

We have all experienced firsthand the lack of adequate healthcare service in the Amhara region of Ethiopia. Ghion physician association in America (GPAIA) is a nonprofit organization, 501C3 registered.

Building Health Centers and supporting existing primary hospitals and general hospitals.

Training Local Physicians and healthcare workers.

Organizing medical missions and sending medical team to provide free service on short term basis.

Providing medical supplies, equipment, and medicines

Access to clean water for rural areas by digging water wells.

To improve the quality and accessibility of health care to all people in the Amhara region of Ethiopia.

To work in collaboration with Amhara regional healthcare system by training and supporting local physicians and healthcare workers. Providing support in building hospitals and clinics in remote areas of the region.
