Photos from my KAIF Foundation-funded Zahiruddin-Hormuza Computer Center where students in our village in Noakhali are learning to develop computer skills for FREE. There is a general lecture followed by break-up hands-on sessions where seven computers are available for them to receive practical training. The Center is in its third year. Imagine the big class size reflecting their willingness to improve their computer and skills to further their job and career opportunities. (It is our conviction that education will facilitate “women empowerment.) From KAIF Foundation we have nomenclature the Center after the names of my (Dr. Faizul Islam’s) dada and dadi, respectively.
