Our Lions proudly rolled up their sleeves at United Community’s Scouting for Food drive on 1/8/2025 💙

Thanks to our incredible local Boy Scouts, thousands of pounds of non-perishable food were donated to support neighbors facing hunger.

We’re grateful to serve alongside partners who turn compassion into action. Together, we’re helping families thrive and strengthening the community we all call home. 💛

Mt. Vernon Evening Lions and Mason Neck Lions joined forces to empower their community with free hearing and vision screenings for children and adults at the 3rd Annual Back to School Event of Supervisor Dan Storck held at the Lorton Community Action Center (LCAC) . They were also joined by the newly chartered McLean Fil Am Lions Club, who were eager to learn from their service projects. In total, they made a positive impact on 59 individuals.

🎉 Celebrating Service & Summer Fun! 🦁☀️
The Mt. Vernon Evening Lions Club had a blast participating in Supervisor Dan Storck’s Summer Palooza on June 7th—the very same date our club was chartered back in 1999! 🥳

For 25 years, we’ve been proudly serving the Mount Vernon Place, Past and Present community through vision screenings, food drives, youth support, and more. 💙

What better way to celebrate our Silver Anniversary than by connecting with neighbors, sharing our mission, and spreading kindness at this fantastic community event?

A huge thank you to Supervisor Dan Storck for bringing our community together—here’s to many more years of service, fellowship, and impact! 🙌✨
