South County Little League This is the official page for South County Little League, a 501c3, located in Lorton, VA.

SCLL is an all-volunteer run non-profit that believes in the power of youth baseball and softball to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities. Our mission is to teach children the game of baseball and softball through a fun learning experience that stresses good sportsmanship, leadership, teamwork, goal-setting, and respect for themselves and others; to help children buil

d self confidence, become responsible citizens, improve athletic skills and knowledge, and develop a healthy competitive spirit. To achieve this objective, South County Little League will provide a supervised program under the Rules and Regulations of Little League Baseball. All Directors, Officers and Members shall bear in mind that the attainment of exceptional athletic skill or the winning of games is secondary, and the molding of future citizens is of prime importance.

What a season!

From Opening Day to the final out, the 2026 spring season was everything Little League is supposed to be! Kids competing, growing, making memories, and doing it all in a community that shows up for them every single time.

To our players: you gave us everything this spring. We couldn’t be prouder of the way you played the game.

To our families: thank you for the early mornings, the late evenings, the lawn chairs, the snack shack lines, and the endless encouragement. South County Little League runs on you.

To our managers, coaches, and volunteers: none of this happens without your time and heart. The hours you pour into this program, before the first pitch and long after the last one, make all the difference.

And to our sponsors and community partners: your support keeps this league going. We are grateful.

Tonight, we celebrated our SCLL graduates! Players who started on a tee ball field and grew into competitors, teammates, and people we are so proud of. Every year, this is one of our favorite events.

You’ve aged out of Little League, but the grit, the hustle, and the lessons you learned on these fields are yours forever. Stay in sports. It teaches leadership, resilience, and how to be a good teammate, and the world needs more of that.

⚾️ Ready for a little more baseball fun this summer? ⚾️

South County Little League is excited to announce that the District Fun Tournament still has space for players ages 8-10 and 10-12!

This is a short, low-pressure tournament designed to keep kids playing, learning, and having fun after the regular season wraps up. Players will have the opportunity to develop new skills, gain confidence, play with teammates they may not normally play with, and build even more friendships within our amazing SCLL community.

We currently have teams forming for both age groups, but we’re still looking for a coach for our 8-10 team! If you’ve ever thought about helping out on the field, this is a great opportunity to make a positive impact while enjoying a fun summer baseball experience.

Our Girls Summer Development Program is designed specifically for softball players who want to improve their skills, athleticism, strength, speed, and overall confidence both on and off the field.
