مركز دكتور معتصم نمر للثقافة البيئية

مؤسسة تطوعية، غير ربحية، تأسس في 19 نوفمبر 2017م، تخليداً لذكرى المرحوم الدكتور/ معتصم بشير نمر، رائد العمل البيئي في السودان، لنشر الثقافة والمعرفة البيئية وسط كافة قطاعات الشعب السوداني، عن طريق التوعية وبناء القدرات والتعليم المبتكر.
ويعرف المركز الثقافة البيئية بأنها مفهوم يسعى لترسيخ المعارف البيئية الأساسية وتعريف المشاكل البيئية وآثارها وكيفية مواجهاتها بين كافة أفراد المجتمع ومن ثم تعزيز السلوك البيئي الإيجابي الدائم.
تستند فكرة Mutasim Nimir Centre for Environmental Culture - MNCEC على أهمية تعظيم الجهود لمجابهة القضايا البيئية المختلفة التي تواجه السودان، وإستخدام أساليب مبتكرة، متنوعة، عملية، وفعالة لمعالجة النواقص والعقبات التي تحد من المحافظة على البيئة وحمايتها.
رؤية المركز: نحو مجتمع متملك للمعارف البيئية الأساسية وفاعل في تحقيق البيئة السليمة والمحافظة عليها.
مشاريع المركز خلال العام الحالي:
*مشروع توثيق المعارف البيئية المحلية:
يهدف المشروع الي حفظ وتوثيق ونشر المعارف المحلية المرتبطة بالبيئة وتفاعل الانسان السوداني مع بيئته المحيطة. وبدأ المركز في هذا المشروع بمنطقة "ابودليق" شمالي ولاية الخرطوم.
*مجلة السمبرية:
هي مجلة بيئية دورية تهدف لنشر المعارف البيئية وتسليط الضوء على أهم القضايا البيئية في بلادنا.
جائزة المواطنة البيئية للعام 2021:
جائزة المواطنة البيئية هي جائزة سنوية مقدمة من مركز معتصم نمر للثقافة البيئية، بالتعاون -هذا العام- مع برنامج الامم المتحدة للبيئة. تهدف الجائزة لإبراز المبادرات الشخصية/ الجماعية/ المؤسسية في مجال البيئة، وتعزيز روح المسؤولية البيئية في المجتمع.
النادي البيئي:
هو برنامج يهدف لرفع مستوى الوعي البيئي للمهتمين بالبيئة عن طريق القاءات والنقاشات في مختلف قضايا البيئة، ومشاركة المعارف والثقافات البيئية المختلفة.

GWI is pleased to announce the Building GBV Evidence Grant: a funding opportunity for humanitarian agencies, civil society, women's organizations or universities to implement GBV research and M&E activities in refugee and humanitarian settings. Selected projects will fund GBV research or evaluation activities, improve M&E systems, support secondary analysis of existing data or build capacity for GBV M&E or research. A two phased funding approach will be utilized. Initial funding for an inception phase will range from $10,000 - $15,000 USD with an expected start date of May 1, 2021 for a period of 3 months or less. Successful applicants will then be eligible for a Phase 2 funding between $30,000 - $300,000 USD. All interested applicants should submit their proposals to [email protected] by February 19, 2021 midnight US EST.
