Recovery is Possible

Harriet’s House Inc. supports residents in the effort to leave the immediate shadows of addiction to any substance. This is done by putting the AA and/or NA texts and traditions into everyday practice as a means to rediscovering life and a means of living a sober spiritual life. This happens as residents also work on issues of self-esteems, trauma or loss. Drugs and alcohol addiction is replaced with a sense of responsibility and community by having a job on the grounds, helping take care of and be with animals through our animal therapy program. Our goal is to help residents achieve an essential clean and sober future, free of the debilitating chains of active addiction.
