112 Days and counting down until the Loretto Christmas Parade!
We are now an official non profit organization: Loretto Events Inc. 👏

In order to make some adjustments, add a few new ideas, and attempt to bring more of the community together, we will be needing your help. In the near future we will be asking for sponsorship from individuals and businesses to help us achieve our goal.

One major change you will see this year is the direction and the line up will change from previous years. This is a huge change but one we felt was top priority for the safety of the community. Our sole intent is to bring a safe and enjoyable event for you, your families, friends, and neighbors from surrounding areas.

We hope you will support Loretto Events Inc. as we attempt to bring back the parade this year….and make it as great as it always has been 😊

Giving a shout out today to Jamie and Sharon Blandford with Taste and See Ministries. They have volunteered to provide food for everyone at the after parade event that will be held at Loretto City Hall directly following the parade. We are adding so many new things to this event this year and we are so excited to have such awesome volunteers to make big things happen.

Preparing and organizing for the 2026 Loretto Christmas Parade started in January and we have so many new ideas and changes in the works. But we would like more community input. What is something you would like to see changed or added? What can we do to draw more people and more participation? Please be nice…we are all volunteers and this is a new project for most of us….😊

The theme for the 2026 Loretto Christmas Parade will be Candyland. The suggestion was made by Amanda Whitlock. Amanda will receive a $50 gift card to Cozy Corner. Thank you Joel Magana for your sponsorship and thank you to all who participated. Now that a theme has been chosen you can start getting those ideas lined out for your floats. And this year there will be cash prizes awarded…more details will follow at a later date.

There will be a meeting tonight at 6:00 at the Loretto City Hall. This will be the last scheduled meeting until September while we take a break for the summer.

UPDATE: The meeting for Tuesday night has been canceled

There will be a parade meeting on Tuesday, April 28th at Loretto City Hall. Come and join us if you would like to volunteer or have new ideas to share.

There were 35 suggestions for a theme for the 2026 parade that we received from a previous post. The committee has narrowed it down to 6 entries and we want the community to have the final say in choosing a theme. Please take a minute and vote for one. Thanks 😊
