We are so excited to welcome the teachers back with lunch & treats from Brooki Cakes and Creamery!

Thank you to all the parents that contributed to stocking the teachers lounge! It was such a great turnout!

We are so excited for a new school year at Lorena Primary! We would love to start the year off with a stocked teachers lounge to show our teachers & staff how appreciated they are.

There are two ways you can support Lorena Primary & the incredible staff:

1. Stock the Lounge - August 10 at Meet the Teacher
Our teachers & staff love snacks, fruit, waters, soda, tea, coffee, etc.

2. Join the 2026-2027 Lorena ISD PTO! You can volunteer as little or as much as you want. Joining PTO is a fun way to get involved to support Lorena ISD teachers & staff all year long!

📸 Need back-to-school pictures? She’s incredibly talented, professional, and so sweet. Even better, a portion of every session is donated back to support our school through the PTO. It’s a great way to capture the new school year while giving back! 🍎❤️

Sign up for back to school mini sessions with Joyful Noise Photography on Wednesday, August 5th! Leah will be taking pictures at the primary school in the morning and the elementary school in the evening. Each mini sessions will be approximately 5 minutes and include 5 edited images for $50 for 1-2 kids from the same family ($15/kid after 2 siblings). A portion of the proceeds will be donated back to Lorena PTO! Leah will be able to do 4 families every 15 minutes and payment options will be cash, check or Venmo the day of. 🎬✨ Teacher Appreciation Week: Rolling Out the Red Carpet! ✨🎬 May 4th-8th

We are so excited to celebrate our amazing teachers and staff in true Hollywood style this year! Thanks to some incredible sponsors, our red carpet is already filled with delicious food and treats—so we only need a little extra sparkle from our families to make the week shine!

💫 Daily Fun & Dress-Up Ideas + Teacher Surprises
We also have some really cute themed dress-up days and simple ideas for students to surprise their teachers throughout the week! I’ll include a picture of the weekly dress-up schedule below so families can easily join in the fun and help us make each day feel extra special for our teachers.

💝 You are also more than welcome to send small treats, notes, or thoughtful surprises anytime during the week—anything that helps your child’s teacher feel like the star they are!

We’ll be providing a mix of sweet favorites like donuts and kolaches along with fresh, healthy options to help them start their day off right.
