We need all the good thoughts and prayers for our boy Sid. ❤️🐾

A couple of amazing people have fallen for this sweet boy and would love to make him part of their family. There’s just one little question left to answer… how does Sid feel about cats? 🐱👀

Since we don’t have cats at the rescue, we simply don’t know yet. So Sid is getting his chance to show us what he thinks — and we are REALLY hoping he understands the assignment. 😂🙏

Please say a little prayer for our boy that he does well with his potential kitty sibling and gets to STAY. 🥹❤️

Sid has been waiting for his forever home, and we would love nothing more than for this to be it.

Come on, Sid. Be cool around the cat. 😂🤞🐾

✨ MEET MIA ✨

Somebody please tell Mia her forever family is taking WAY too long. 😂❤️

This adorable 2–3-year-old girl is fixed, vaccinated, fostered, and READY for a home of her own! Mia is housebroken, loves car rides, lives for a good snuggle, and has even been known to stop and admire herself in the mirror. 💅 Honestly, we get it.

Mia is sweet, gentle, and great with people and other dogs. She prefers calm, mellow friends and dainty play over rough-and-tumble chaos. She’s even politely curious about horses — although we’re pretty sure that friendship is currently a little one-sided. 😂🐴

One family who spent time with her said it best: “She couldn’t have been more perfect.”

So… WHO IS TAKING THIS GIRL HOME?! 🥹🏡

❤️ MEET + APPLY FOR MIA:

From the streets to SUPERSTAR. ⭐️❤️

Luke, aka Joey, once knew what it meant to survive on his own. Today, he knows what it means to be chosen, loved, safe and HOME.

And that last little kiss for Patricia? We’re choosing to believe that was Luke’s way of saying, “Thank you for helping me find them.” 🥹❤️

This is why we do what we do. Every rescue deserves their own “until I found you” moment—and Luke found his with the most loving family.

If Luke’s story inspires you, you can be part of the next happy ending. Adopt. Foster. Volunteer. Donate. Every one of these makes a difference. 🐾

💔 TWO SENIOR GIRLS ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME

Lady and Bear spent their lives loving their mom—and she loved them dearly. Sadly, their mom has entered assisted living and will not be able to return home. Now these two seniors are still at the house they shared with her, waiting and wondering where she went.

Someone checks on them twice a day, but this is only temporary. We are trying desperately to keep them out of the shelter, and time is running out.

🐾 Lady is an approximately 10-year-old female Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with lots of personality.

🐾 Bear is an approximately 10-year-old female German Shepherd who can be shy at first but warms up once he feels safe.

Both dogs are sweet, gentle, smart, loving, fixed and microchipped. They can be adopted separately—we simply need safe, loving homes where they can spend the rest of their lives surrounded by the same love they gave so freely.

Their mom’s greatest concern was knowing they would continue to be loved. Please help us make that happen.

If you can adopt, foster or help, please call or text us today. If you cannot take one home, please share—one share could reach the person they’re waiting for.

Henry was dumped alongside his brothers and sisters, including Faith and Farrah—and heartbreakingly, there are still more puppies out there waiting to be caught.

Henry is safe now, but he is terrified. People failed him before he ever had the chance to understand what love and safety feel like. It isn’t fair, and none of this is his fault.

We are patiently building his confidence and teaching him that not every person will hurt or abandon him. He needs a loving, patient home that will continue showing him that he is safe, wanted, and worthy of love.

Henry needs someone to say yes. Please adopt, foster, donate, volunteer, or share his story. Every share helps us reach more people—and one of those people could be the home Henry has been waiting for.

A reminder to our community: If you see a dog outside without adequate water, shade, or shelter—or a dog that appears lost, abandoned, chained up, distressed, or somewhere it should not be—please say something. Post online, contact local authorities, call a rescue, and keep reaching out until someone responds. There are people who want to help, but they have to know the animal is there.

Texas heat is deadly. Dogs can overheat very quickly, and some are at even greater risk because of their age, breed, health, or coat. Please do not leave animals outside for extended periods. Check on your pets, check on the animals around you, and speak up when something doesn’t look right. More voices mean a better chance of getting help before it is too late.

At only nine months old, Truman was taken to a veterinarian by his owner with a request that he be euthanized because he was said to be aggressive.

Thankfully, a Good Samaritan stepped in, stopped it from happening and took Truman in as a foster before he eventually came to us.

The Truman we know has not shown a single shred of aggression. He is a genuinely good, loving boy who is wonderful with people and other dogs. Right now, he is simply learning that he is safe, building his confidence and waiting for a family who will give him the love and security he deserves.

Truman is fixed, vaccinated and ready for his forever home. Please help us make sure his story doesn’t end with what almost happened to him—but with the family who finally chooses him.
