Lordsburg Border Patrol Explorer Post

Lordsburg Border Patrol Explorer Post The Lordsburg Explorer Post is sponsored by the United States Border Patrol.

The Law Enforcement Explorers are young adults from the ages 14 to 20, enrolled in a career based learning experience, chartered through the Boy Scouts of America Learning for Life Program. Enrollment is limited to current students that do not have a criminal history, maintain satisfactory grades in school, and have the ambition to succeed in our future careers, with a positive outlook in life. Th

e Border Patrol assists the Post by allowing Border Patrol Agents to serve as Explorer Advisors. The Explorers are a not for profit organization that does not receive financial support from the Border Patrol or any other government entity. All funding for uniforms, training supplies and equipment, and costs incurred during travel to competitions, are received through donations and fundraising events. Explorers are provided opportunities to train under other federal, state, and local law enforcement officers, and members of the United States Armed Forces.

We want to take a moment to give a huge THANK YOU to the incredible companies that stepped up to support our 3rd Annual Cowboys vs Cops Charity Rifle Match. With approximately 64 participants this event was a huge success and we hope to continue to grow in the years to come.

Because of the generosity of sponsors like ZeroTech Optics, B***o Mountain Rifles, WD Ranch, Kelbly’s, Leofoto, Mack Bros, Vortex Optics, Gambel Knives, Salmon River Solutions, MDT, and B&T Industries, our prize table was stacked!

The lucky winner of the “Golden Spike 30-30” was Mr Ernie Fralie - CONGRATULATIONS!

THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered their time to make this event a success! THANK YOU for continuing to support the Explorers ! A big shout out to all of the participants, the Agents and their families, Ms Shannon Lasher for our delicious lunch , Our generous community member for donating the rifle that was raffled,Hidalgo County and Hidalgo County EMS .
