CAMP IDEAS CAMP I.D.E.A.S. provides an affordable opportunity for children with special needs to participate i Camp I.D.E.A.S.

One teacher heard the voices of several parents and their desire to allow their autistic children the same opportunities as their typical siblings. While schools and communities are striving to make progress, there are still very few affordable opportunities for children with disabilities in the summer. While typical peers can independently with friends enjoy swimming at area pools, Little League,

the public library and riding their bikes, autistic children are unable to do those things safely without trained supervision. provides an affordable opportunity for children with special needs to participate in these activities in a safe environment with trained, caring mentors.

We are so excited to announce Camp IDEAS Annual Spaghetti Dinner and Fundraiser on Sunday, April 12th!

Come join us for a great meal and fantastic auction items.

Interested in helping? We can use people to work the event, donate prizes for auction, donate desserts or be potential sponsors. If interested, please reach out to Lexie Simon or Carol Mathews

It's a bake off, bake sale, Santa, Christmas music, letters to Santa, raffles and cookie decorating for the kids! Come on out for an afternoon of fun!

And, we've got your holiday cookies covered!

Cash is preferred.

Proceeds go to programming and operating camp for special needs children from around Lorain County.

We can't wait to share the holidays with you!!

For Giving Tuesday, we’re proud to highlight Camp I.D.E.A.S., a local program that gives children with developmental disabilities the chance to enjoy safe, meaningful summer experiences. Their work brings joy, inclusion, and support to families across our community, and today is the perfect day to help lift their mission ❤️

You can make an impact through a donation, by sharing their story, or by joining us at Spitzer Chevy Amherst on Sunday, December 14th from 1–3:30 for the Cookies for Camp Bake Off. There will be cookie tastings, raffles, decorating, and plenty of holiday fun — with all proceeds benefiting Camp I.D.E.A.S. 🍪🎄
