CAMP IDEAS CAMP I.D.E.A.S. provides an affordable opportunity for children with special needs to participate i Camp I.D.E.A.S.

One teacher heard the voices of several parents and their desire to allow their autistic children the same opportunities as their typical siblings. While schools and communities are striving to make progress, there are still very few affordable opportunities for children with disabilities in the summer. While typical peers can independently with friends enjoy swimming at area pools, Little League, the public library and riding their bikes, autistic children are unable to do those things safely without trained supervision. provides an affordable opportunity for children with special needs to participate in these activities in a safe environment with trained, caring mentors.

Hey Everybody!!!

It's back and it's going to be bigger than ever! Camp IDEAS will be hosting its annual Chili Cookoff on October 18th from 12-3 at German's Villa.

Come on out and taste fabulous chilis, get a hot dog or two, indulge in the bake sale or try your luck in the raffles!

Proceeds from the event will go toward programming for our upcoming 30th summer. We can't wait to start creating an exciting 30th summer of learning and fun in 2027!

It's summertime and who wants to cook on a Wednesday? Well, tomorrow, July 29th, Camp IDEAS has you covered. Come on down to Lorenzo's Pizzeria Lorain from 11:30-8:00 and show this flier. Camp will receive 10% of your order. Your support will help with programming for our awesome kiddos next summer when we celebrate our 30th year of providing summer services for students with special needs from around Lorain County. Camp Families,

Today we were visited by the Elyria Mini Pioneers Football program during gym class. Vaughn Sprinkle and his coaches and 11U players were simply amazing with our campers.

Later this evening, we received this flyer/invitation for our campers to register for inclusive workouts at his brother's (Tracy Sprinkle) gym.

Hi Everyone!

Camp IDEAS has started our 29th summer serving children with special needs from around Lorain County. We are already in full swing after two days. And, it is fantastic!!!

We are, however, in need of a few things. If you could find it in your heart to help us out, we need the following items:
Bottled water (small sizes)
Freeze pop popsicles (given to all
campers daily)

Also, if you are interested in helping out with dessert...that would be amazing. At Camp IDEAS we feed our entire camp (campers/staff) on a daily basis. This includes dessert. If you would like to sign up for a date, please let me know. It is for around 200 people.

We ALWAYS appreciate your help, support and love. Thank you for considering our kiddos.
