Good afternoon,

I hope this message finds you well. I have to make the difficult decision today to cancel our weekend event, "The Love of Baton and Twirling," due to the winter storms that are approaching.

As I type this, I already have judges and participants en route to the event, and I cannot wait any longer to inform everyone that we will not be able to proceed with this weekend’s clinic and competition as planned.

I have been in communication with the team coaches, and we have made this decision together. Thank you so much, coaches, for all you do for your athletes and their families!

I have confirmed with the school that we are able to reschedule our clinic and competition for March 8 and 9.

“For the love of baton twirling”, that’s why we were coming together this weekend, and as baton twirling professionals, we are not willing to put you all at risk.

Please stay home and enjoy your family time safely.

All of your entries will carry over directly to next month. We will also reopen our entry system at twirlmate.com for you to add to your entries and give others the opportunity to participate.

Thank you for your understanding, and I look forward to seeing everyone in March!
