This recognition is an incredible honor and reflects what AWA has always been about—giving back, investing in our youth, and helping preserve Arkansas’s outdoor heritage for generations to come.

Driven by a passion for the Natural State, the AWA has been a powerhouse in preserving our hunting and fishing heritage. From cultivating the next generation of ethical sportsmen through their renowned Youth Summer Camp Program to restoring vital habitats across Arkansas, their dedication to conservation and youth education is unmatched! 🏹🎣

Their impact shines brightest at the 160-acre Bennett Family AWA Outdoor Recreation Center in Lonoke County—home to a 10,800-square-foot Event Center, fishing reservoirs, sporting clays, and archery courses built to keep our outdoor traditions alive for years to come. 🌾✨

One of the toughest decisions we make each year is choosing our AWA Camper of the Year. We were blessed with an outstanding group of young people at our 2026 camp, making this year’s decision especially difficult.
