This is our 3rd year participating at Call to Serve and every year we get the chance to meet future volunteers, reinforce connections and make new friends!

We are so excited to participate in the Leadership Seminole Call to Service for the third year in a row!

Join us tomorrow, October 9th, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Northland Church – The Rink, 522 Dog Track Rd., Longwood, FL 32750.

This free, family-friendly event brings together more than 40 local nonprofits representing a wide range of causes, including homelessness, hunger relief, education, the arts, and animal welfare.

🌟 Jamie is headed to Times Square!

We have some BIG news to celebrate! 🎉

Our very own Jamie was selected as one of just 500 individuals from across the country whose photo will be featured in the National Down Syndrome Society’s Times Square video presentation in New York City on September 12!

Even better? Jamie and his family are heading to NYC to see his face light up Times Square in person and then join the NYC Buddy Walk in Central Park💛💙

Jamie brings so much joy and personality to our Mephibo's House family, and we could not be more excited to see him celebrated on such a BIG stage.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

We’re excited to bring 40 incredible nonprofit organizations together for this year’s Call to Service! Over the next several posts, we’ll introduce you to the organizations that will be there and the important work they’re doing in our community.

Christian Tech Center - is a faith-based nonprofit service organization dedicated to furthering the gospel of Jesus Christ through technological
advancement of our community. We offer free computer-related assistance including repairs, tech skills training, and a
community PC refurbishment and distribution program.

Mercy Road - exists to find people in need, meet people in their need, and connect them with the care they need! We bring
flourishing to the Central Florida area by improving the quality of life for single mothers, young children, neuro divergent
adults, seniors and anyone in need of mercy.

Recovery House - serves to reduce addiction and homelessness in Seminole County by empowering and equipping men to become sober and self-sufficient members of society. We are a faith-based, non-profit organization committed to providing transitional housing and recovery support services using a program consisting of addiction education, life skills, vocational training, counseling, family reunification, and, more importantly, mental health counseling. Recovery House of Central Florida, Inc. provides these services to men regardless of their ability to pay.

Inspire - inspiring adults with unique abilities to live, work, and thrive in their community.

Camaraderie Foundation - Camaraderie Foundation’s mission is to provide healing for the “invisible wounds of war” through counseling, emotional,
and spiritual support for all military service members, veterans, and their families.
