🐴🇺🇸 Special visitors at Crossroads Corral this evening!

We were so excited to give Manny and Barry from the Travis Manion Foundation a tour of our new forever home and share with them all that is to come! It was wonderful to share our mission, our new facility, and the impact of equine-assisted mental health counseling, especially for veterans and youth.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect with organizations who share our passion for serving veterans, youth, and their families. ❤️

Why horses?

Because horses do not care about your job title, your past, your mistakes or what happened yesterday.

They meet you exactly where you are.

They respond to what is happening in the moment and give honest feedback without judgment.

For someone working through trauma, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges or emotional regulation, that can be incredibly powerful.

Our horses do not provide the therapy.

They help create the environment where therapy can happen.

✨Most of our therapy team got to see our new farm, our forever home, for the very first time this morning!

For years, we’ve dreamed of a place where Crossroads Corral could grow and serve even more people through the healing power of horses.

And now, that dream is becoming a reality. ❤️

This isn’t just a new farm. It’s the beginning of an incredible new chapter, a place where healing will happen, lives will be changed, and hope will grow. ✨

At Crossroads Corral, our horses aren’t here to teach people how to ride.

They’re here to help people heal.

Equine Assisted Mental Health Counseling/Psychotherapy uses carefully guided interactions with horses to help clients explore emotions, relationships, communication, boundaries, trust, and personal growth.

For some people, talking about difficult experiences can feel overwhelming.

But standing beside a horse, syncing our heart rate to theirs, being fully present in the moment…..

Sometimes that’s where the conversation can begin. 💙🐴
