The park features a boat launch ramp and a separate airboat launch ramp, making it a convenient destination for visitors who want to explore the waterways. For those looking to stay overnight, Mullet Lake Park also offers eight primitive camping spots, providing a simple and peaceful way to spend more time surrounded by nature.

Moores Station Soccer Fields

Seminole County FL is full of surprises!

As we continue our journey to visit all of Seminole County Parks, Trails and Recreation parks, we made another stop at Moore’s Station Soccer Fields in City of Sanford, FL Government,The fields provide a great open space for soccer, with playing areas and plenty of room for teams and spectators to enjoy the games.

But this visit came with an unexpected bonus!

We happened to be there on the last day of the Orlando Sanford International Airport Orlando Air Show , and while exploring the park, we caught an F-22 Raptor flying overhead!

You never know what you’re going to discover when you’re out exploring Seminole County’s parks. From soccer fields to fighter jets, there’s always something happening!

Midway Park
Sanford , FL

Another park checked off our list!

We had a great time visiting Midway Park in Sanford as we continue our mission to visit all of Seminole County Parks, Trails and Recreation parks.

This park has something for everyone, including a fun playground, water fountains, plenty of shade, a pavilion for gatherings, a basketball court, and nice, convenient parking.

It’s always fun discovering the different amenities each of our local parks has to offer. We’re looking forward to exploring the next one!
