2.

Rotary is an international organization dedicated to tackling the worlds most pressing humanitarian challenges. We help conduct the work internationally while also working on similar challenges at the local level in our own community. Rotarians use the Four-way test as tool in guiding their personal and professional relationships:
1. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it BUILD GOODWILL AND BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

✨ Rotary Meeting Highlights – June 10, 2026

Longview Rotary was pleased to present a $1,200 donation to the Progress Center in support of its Storytime Take-Home Books Program. This program helps put books into the hands of children and families, encouraging reading and early literacy throughout our community.

👏 Congratulations to Keith Larson on receiving his Paul Harris Fellow +4 recognition. The additional stones on his badge represent his fourth level of Paul Harris recognition, recognizing his continued generosity and dedication to Rotary’s mission.

We also enjoyed a wonderful Classification Talk from our new member, Judi Smith. Judi shared her personal and professional journey, giving fellow Rotarians the opportunity to learn more about her background, experiences, and interests.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for another great meeting filled with service, fellowship, and learning.

Longview Rotary Meeting Highlights – May 27, 2026

Yesterday’s Longview Rotary meeting was a meaningful one.

We welcomed our guest speakers, Karley Whitworth and Allan Erickson from the Port of Longview, who shaDred updates about the Port, its current projects, and its impact on our community. Thank you for taking the time to speak with us and for the important work you do.

Before the meeting, we took time to pray for those affected by the tragic incident at Nippon. Our thoughts and prayers are with the injured, the victims, their families and friends, coworkers, first responders, and our entire community. It was a heavy-hearted gathering as many of us know people impacted by this tragedy. We continue to keep them in our prayers and hope for healing, strength, and comfort in the days ahead.
