please give at your door or drop off at 451 Kimbark St, 9am - 12pm. The Longmont Turkey Turnout is an annual food drive to help our neighbors in need. Each November, bags are dropped at doorsteps of residents of Longmont. This year (2025), our 17th year, we are dropping 5,000+ BAGS across the City! Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, churches & other volunteers pick up donations the Saturday befo
re Thanksgiving. So far, we have collected more than 100,000 pounds of food, 35,000 pounds clothes and 600+ bikes. How it works:
No one will knock on your door. Just leave a bag (or more) out, and we will collect it and get it to these wonderful non-profits.
2025: If you DID NOT get a bag, please consider stopping by our Collection Point on Saturday, November 22nd, and drop off a donation! 9AM - 12PM only. 451 Kimbark St. You can also TEXT or EMAIL us with your address BEFORE 11/22 only: 303-319-9882 or 720-281-0329. You can also email us at [email protected]. We will get a volunteer to come by and pick up your donation on the 22nd. This year's collection date: Saturday, November 22, 2025. Collection will be from 9AM - 12PM at the 400 block downtown parking lot (451 Kimbark St). This year's goal: 5,000+ pounds of food, winter clothes, and toiletries for local residents who need them. Program beneficiaries are the OUR Center Food Pantry and Clothing Center, HOPE of Longmont, and ARC of Colorado. We are NOT collecting bicycles this year. You can bring those to your local Longmont firehouse through 11/30. Volunteers are always welcome to join us and help our program. See www.turkeyturnout.org for more info and details
