History is fun! Thomas Edison discovered a way to record sound on “tinfoil-coated cylinders” in 1877! Later we started making them out of wax, then various materials before we got to vinyl in the 1940s. Think how far we come to the streaming platforms now. It is so fun to see what comes through MSCH Thrift!

Meet Roberta, our 5-year volunteer who keeps our book section organized! She's passionate about family, books, and hobbies like crocheting, reading, and phone games 🤣. When asked what her favorite "volunteer superpower" would be, she said she would choose to fly over the busy store to get to the books quicker. Thanks for all you do, Roberta! 💕
