Get ready for a Halloween experience like no other, hosted in one of the most iconic buildings in Longmont! Built in 1907 and standing proudly on Main Street, the Odd Fellows Hall is the perfect backdrop for a night of mystery, fun, and dancing.

This is a fundraiser for the lodge's philanthropy fund, which we use to donate to non-profit organizations and to honor our historic command to “visit the sick, relieve the distressed, bury the dead and educate the orphan.”

🍺 Drinks: Three kegs on tap, with other beer options in cans, plus wine, soda, and sparkling water included.

Longmont Lodge #29 recently had a wonderful community outreach event. For those of you who haven’t heard, Longmont Lodge opened our doors to accommodate a community vaccination clinic. One of our brothers, Lou Cavallo who is the owner of Cavallo Chiropractic, heard that a local pharmacy ( Flatirons Family Pharmacy) had received a large number of doses of the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine. The problem the pharmacy faced was a simple one of delivery. They had insufficient space to accommodate so many people in time. As I’m sure you know, many people are eager to get the vaccine in hopes that life will return to normal. In fact, after opening the sign-up sheet to the public, it filled up in a matter of hours.

Here is where the Longmont Lodge came into the picture. Brother Lou called out to the lodge. We have sufficient space and the ability to accommodate a flow of individuals in one door and out another. Very quickly, the lodge approved the idea of the vaccination clinic and many members signed up to help out. About sixteen members along with spouses and family members volunteered their time to help Jennifer Aytug Palazzolo (the pharmacy owner) and her Staff get the job done. Some members welcomed people to the lodge, checked paperwork and directed foot traffic. Others helped people find parking. Still more helped the pharmacy staff review paperwork and fill out vaccine cards. Some helped to monitor those who were given the vaccines in case of reactions.

This wasn’t the first time that Longmont Lodge pitched in during a time of great need. During the 1918 Spanish Flu Epidemic, the lodge building served as an emergency hospital for those afflicted . We were all proud to continue this legacy in the aid of our community. In a week, all those who got their first shot, will return to the lodge to get the second dose. I’m certain that the members of Longmont Lodge will continue our mission to visit the sick, relieve the distressed, bury the dead and educate the orphan.
