Amy clocked in for her first shift at Happy Day 4 years ago today! I couldn’t find a single photo of her by herself, which says so much about her heart and her leadership on our team. We couldn’t do what we do without you, Amy! You are dependable, so positive and you make a MEAN charcuterie board. I hope to work with you for years to come! Thank you for 4 of the very best years!

We are still dreaming of the amazing day we had with you all last Saturday! Thank you for showing up and partnering with us! Happy Day Plants exists because of this wonderful community. Thank you for allowing us to be the place you meet friends for some shopping, the place you have your birthday party, the place where you come for that special gift and the place where you bring your guests when they visit from out of town. We love you all so much and can’t wait to take you with us into the next seasons of Happy Day Plants. So many good things ahead!

New shirts are hanging, fresh plants are displayed, the shop is tip top shape and we’re so excited to spend a special day with you tomorrow! Our Ficus Benjamina, Big Ben, will be decorated with special opportunities to donate to our mission. Each leaf will hold a different dollar amount.

You can sit with me. People have asked how we came up with our theme for our community celebration on Saturday. When we learned that close to 40% of adults with disabilities report loneliness, we knew that we needed to continue to work hard to provide opportunities and more seats at our tables. Our employment opportunities, volunteer program and community programs are all happening because we saw needs in our community. Thank you for coming alongside us for the past 5 years to meet those needs.
I can only imagine what we’ll be able to do in the next 5 and years and the next 5 after that! We can’t wait to see you Saturday! Let’s make more seats at the table, Longmont!

Our Thrifted Vessel workshop last weekend might’ve just been one of my favorites! Nothing brings a container back to life better than a plant! Thanks to the fun group that joined us. This workshop will be added into our rotation again for sure! Stay tuned! In the meantime, I’ll be on the lookout for more thrifted treasures that are calling for a plant!
