What a fantastic evening at the Longmeadow Adult Center! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Mexican International Dinner and helped make it such a fun, festive, and memorable event.

Guests enjoyed a delicious authentic Mexican meal, great company, lively entertainment, and plenty of laughter. The wonderful turnout and enthusiasm made the evening a tremendous success.

A special thank you goes to the dedicated volunteers of the Longmeadow Adult Community Center Fund (LACCF). Your hard work behind the scenes—from planning and decorating to setup and cleanup—helps make events like these possible. We are grateful for your time, energy, and commitment to our community.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Sarapes Mexican Restaurant, located at 95 High Street, Enfield, CT. Their homemade Mexican cuisine and beautiful dessert were outstanding and received rave reviews from our guests. We encourage everyone to visit this wonderful family-owned restaurant and support a local business that helped make our evening so special.

Thank you again to everyone who attended, volunteered, and supported this event. We look forward to seeing you at our next International Dinner!

Part of our United States’ 250th anniversary lecture series, this program features Julia Bartlett Nelson, Head of the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Library & Museum At Forbes Library.

She explores the presidency of the only U.S. president born on Independence Day and a former Massachusetts governor. Known as “Silent Cal,” Coolidge was respected for his dry wit, belief in limited government, and principled opposition to racism during a time of major change in American history.
