Week 1 campfire band stunning with their rendition of Angel from Montgomery. The Campfire Band Ensemble was a daily class led by .. but anyone can join Caz evening campfires and play or sing along. We have a campfire every night at Caz!

Spend a week in the woods with us this summer 🌲

Caz Northwest is a creative summer camp on the Puget Sound where people of all ages come to make art, build community, and reconnect with nature.

All meals are provided — no cooking, no dishes, just time to be present. Families benefit from dedicated, screen-free kids’ programming during the day, giving parents space to dive into their own creative process.

In the evenings, we gather for campfires, community activities, and time to explore the beautiful grounds right on the water.

While we work hard to make camp magical for families, adults without children are absolutely welcome too — art and community is for everyone!

RYAN ALEXANDER-TANNER will look back at his career working as a cartoonist and illustrator working with a variety of clients, including the New York Times, the Nib, University’s Teacher’s College Press, Buzzfeed, UC San Diego, Talking Points Memo, the Washington Post, Intel, Planned Parenthood, the Portland Mercury, the Willamette Week, Dave’s Killer Bread and many more.

Ryan makes comics and illustrations by hand with pencil, ink, and paper. His work includes Muhammad Ali: The Greatest Comics Biography of All Time and co-authoring an adaptation of Bill Ayers’ book To Teach: The Journey, In Comics.
