LBKTW sea turtle activities are conducted under Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission Marine Turtle Permit 027.

We love that everyone is enjoying time on the beach this holiday weekend, but please remember to cleanup when you leave. Fill in any holes you dig and remove your trash.

Photos show one of our turtle patrol volunteers with a full bag of trash and a big pile to be picked up yet.

Please do your part to keep our beaches clean & safe for the sea turtles and fellow humans.

We were honored to be part of the first annual LBK Turtle Crawl alongside fellow Longboat restaurants, supporting the incredible work of the Longboat Key Turtle Watch and local sea turtle conservation efforts.

From the food to the community support, it was a special evening all around — and we’re grateful to everyone who attended, volunteered, and helped make the inaugural event such a success.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms — human and turtle alike. 💚🐢

Every nesting season, mother sea turtles return to the very beaches where they were born, traveling thousands of miles to lay the next generation of hatchlings. Their journey is one of resilience, instinct, and unconditional care for the future.
Today, we celebrate the mothers who protect, nurture, and inspire life in all forms. Thank you for helping us protect these amazing ocean mothers and the fragile nests they leave behind.
