OVR did very well with Election Day votes (given voter turnout) which carried us across the finish line. However, BMW did very well with mail-in voters and collectively received almost 70% of all counted mail-in ballots.

After 12 days and +18 hours since the polls closed on Election Day 11/7/23, the results are now official. Thank you all again for your support. John, Isabel and Jen are looking forward to getting started in January!

We want to thank everyone who showed up to vote!
Our supporters, who were there from the beginning, those who put out signs, got to know our platform, door knocked, or just spread the word! John, Isabel and Jennifer are very grateful for everyone who helped get us across the finish line. We also want to thank the Baker, McConnell and Wengel slate for a hard fought campaign and appreciate their efforts.
We look forward to working with the school district come January.

To everyone's dismay, the large 4x8 & 4x6 signs on Flocktown, Schooley's Mtn., Bartley and Fairmount will be coming down tonight regardless of the outcome. We know everyone will miss them dearly 😆

Election Day is tomorrow, and we have the momentum!
Unlike the other slate, who has the backing of big political players like ATNJ, Malinowski’s PAC “Districts For Democracy” (who should not be dabbling in local BOE elections). We have the backing of local families in our own community. Let’s finish what we started tomorrow!

If you know anyone in town, tell them to vote 4-5-6 OLDMIXON, VIEIRA, RYAN for K-8 BOE and BRATTON for HS BOE.

Early voting is officially over. Next stop, Election Day! We know so many wonderful people in town who share the same values as our slate, thank you all for your support! After Tuesday we will remain committed to:

- Focusing on raising our test scores
- Supporting curriculum that is fact based
- Protecting our parental rights
- Ensuring the budget is balanced and make fiscally sound decisions
- Listening to our teachers and build on what is working well and rethink what is not
- Not being a “Rubber Stamp” District for Trenton
- Keeping politics out of our schools
- Preserving our tradition of Excellence in Education!

Thankful our schools honor our veterans. Blessed to be able to attend this event at OFRS every time and see everyone. It is so important and we are grateful others in this town appreciate and respect our veterans. Thank you to all our veterans for their service.

Trust us, we know everyone is tired of this. We are too, but the following needs to be known.
Baker, McConnell, Wengel declares they want to keep politics out of our school system. Not only do they have ATNJ's financial, marketing, and advisory support, but now former Congressman Malinowski's PAC "Districts For Democracy" ( https://www.districtsfordemocracy.com/about ) is texting voters in our town this highly political, incorrect, and divisive message on their behalf:
Why is there so much political power behind their school board campaign?

Our campaign is self-funded by 3 parents who have lived in Long Valley for a combined total of over 60 years who genuinely care for our schools, teachers, and students. A win for us on Tuesday wouldn't be a political one, but one for our fantastic schools. Thank you again for your continued support.

You may have heard our campaign use the phrase “We can’t be a rubber stamp for Trenton”. Here is an example: John speaking at a BOE meeting from 2022 about concerns regarding the State recommended Health and S*x Ed Curriculum CHANGES. He, along with MANY other parents in town voiced their concerns and the superintendent agreed–the majority of these changes never made it into WT K-8 curriculum as the State had intended. What is good for Trenton isn’t always good for our small town.

It’s November 1st, less than a week to go!
A important topic that hasn’t received enough attention is school safety. Our slate brought the topic up in the Q&A as one of the main responsibilities for the superintendent to manage. Once on the board we will ensure our safety infrastructure remains strong and look for any areas for improvement. However, it shouldn’t stop there. We are a strong community and we all need to keep the safety of our children as the highest priority both inside and outside school walls.
