It’s mid-May at the Long Lake Fish and Game Club and the students are part of the Long Lake school district’s Clay Target Club. Furlong, who teaches math and science, is the club's advisor.

We will be hosting our 100 Bird Trap Shoot this Saturday August 1st. Registration begins at 7:00 AM and Shooting begins at 8:00 AM. This event is open to the public. Please come and join us!

This last week the Long Lake Fish and Game Club lost one of its board members and greatest friends! Jerry Nenninger was a friend, a coach, a mentor, and a man that everyone wanted to be around. He was active with the club and always there for others. He was a huge part of the Long Lake High School Trap Shooting Team and was almost always the first one there to set up and the last one to leave. Every kid that has come through the program carries a fond memory of Jerry.

We are all heartbroken but thankful for the time that we got to spend with him.

Reminder that tomorrow (May 16th) is our Spring 100 Bird Shoot!

Cost is $35 and registration starts at 8AM with shooting to begin at 9AM.

Come on out and test your skills. This event helps support other programs such as our High School Trap Shooting Club. Which, by the way is currently in 1st place in the conference!
