The Afterschool Collective was created to be more than a home for our own programs. As a nonprofit, part of our mission is to make beautiful, welcoming spaces more accessible to the families, educators and organizations creating meaningful experiences for children in our community.

Our LIC studio is available for community events, children’s parties, homeschool groups, Girl Scout troops, workshops, meetups, and independent instructors looking for a professional space to host high-quality enrichment programs.

We offer discounted community rental rates because we know how difficult—and expensive—it can be for independent educators and small community groups to find a great space in NYC.

Whether you’re an instructor with an amazing class idea, a homeschool group looking for a regular gathering place, a Girl Scout troop planning a meeting or badge activity, a family celebrating something special, or a local organization bringing people together—we’d love to welcome you. 🧡

The best way to understand ASC is to look at what happens when kids are given time, materials, great instructors, and room to explore.

One afternoon might mean building a robot. Another might mean creating a film, designing in 3D, making art, or working on something completely unexpected.

This is afterschool as a place to discover what you’re interested in — not just somewhere to spend the afternoon. ✨

3D Design Lab Jr. introduces younger creators to the idea that the things around us begin as designs — shapes, choices, measurements, revisions, and lots of imagination.

Art Explosion gives students space to experiment with materials, ideas, color, and creative expression after a full school day.

A few spaces remain for fall. Phase Two registration opens September 18 — families can join the waitlist now for first access.

Our pickup process includes live staff location tracking and ongoing parent communication, so families know where their child’s group is every step of the way.

We even developed our own App 🤸

It’s one of the behind-the-scenes systems we’ve built intentionally — because great afterschool should feel just as secure as it feels enriching.

Tomorrow, the building begins. 🧱⚙️💡

School is back Thursday — and so is Snapology afterschool! We’re ready for another semester of big ideas, creative builds, coding, engineering challenges, problem-solving, and plenty of “wait… what if we try this?” moments.

We can’t wait to see what our young engineers create this year. 🚀

The countdown is officially on. ✨ School starts Thursday — and so does afterschool at The Afterschool Collective.

We’re so excited to welcome our kids back for afternoons filled with creativity, connection, movement, building, exploring, and all the little moments in between that make afterschool feel like its own special part of the day. 💛
