Happy Wednesday! So we will be postponing the contest this Saturday. Based on the forecast and there are a couple other events we don’t want to conflict with (but be sure to check out Foam Board Face Off in Sea Bright and 1st qualifier of the year in AC!). We’re keeping an eye on Sunday if the swell comes up but we’ll make that call sometime tomorrow. Luckily we can wait to have the contest when the ocean provides the best conditions! UPDATE*** After looking at the forecast, and with having the opportunity to wait for the best weekend Mother Nature can cook up for us, we have decided to postpone the contest this weekend. We will look at next weekend and make a decision mid next week. We’re lucky enough to be able to run any weekend in October. We will keep registration open as well. HAPPY WEDNESDAY! Our 7th Annual COA Surf Open is scheduled for this weekend. We are keeping a close eye on the ever changing forecast and will make a decision in the next 24hrs if we will be postponing. has been gracious to allow us to use the entire month of October until we have the conditions for the best contest possible. Registration is still open! Looking forward to seeing everyone soon! Thank you for all the support for this event and including our volunteers, surfers (and surfers parents!), and our sponsors. Look forward to seeing everyone sooner than later!

!!!CONTEST IS POSTPONED THIS WEEKEND!!! While we’re disappointed conditions will not be optimal to the hold the contest this weekend, we’re looking forward to seeing everyone Oct 7 (if Mother Nature cooperates!). Registration will remain open until tomorrow am at 9am. Spots still available if you’re division is full be sure to sign up for the waitlist for that division. Also want to thank all of our sponsors, in kind sponsors, contestants, and volunteers. Without all of you we wouldn’t be able to put on the contest and all the support and donations go toward programs to help support and fight to keep the ocean and waterways clean. See you all soon!
