Our first Easter service with our homeless neighbors đź’›
What started as simply bringing sandwiches and praying at different encampments has grown into something so much more. It never felt like enough time before the sun went down, so we had this wild idea to host a BBQ to bring everyone together like family—and it was a success.
From there, it’s grown into weekly visits, monthly BBQs, holiday celebrations, and now…our very first Easter service with worship.
What began as a small dream has now become something we’ve been walking out for 5–6 years—bringing love, community, and the presence of God into places that can feel so heavy and forgotten. It’s truly been a dream come to life.
This Easter was so powerful. God didn’t just show up, He exceeded every expectation we had. We’re beyond grateful for every single person who came to serve—those who cooked, led worship, shared the message, prayed, and those who simply came ready to love. We couldn’t do this without our church community.
Thankful to be doing this together with .church ✨
