Adventures to Dreams is a child enrichment program designed to inspire and empower young minds ages 5 – 16 who live in and around 90813 and surrounding communities by exposing them to education, cultural activities, and mentorship. Our focus is on teaching Culinary/Cooking, Horticulture/Gardening, Health/Nutrition/Fitness, Information Technology, and Life Skills by using STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) as a vehicle. We integrate educational tools, hands-on learning, self–esteem activities, guest speakers, industry professionals, mentorship, and field trips to inspire and empower every child.

Every Friday, brings their program kids out to Adventures to Dreams for a day in the garden! 🌱☀️

The kids get to run around, catch and check out little bugs they find, read stories while soaking up some sun, paint their favorite characters, and just enjoy being outside in nature. It’s always such a fun time watching them explore and get hands-on in the garden.

We love partnering with and getting to be part of these kids’ weekly routine. Growing more than plants out here, we’re growing curiosity, creativity, and a love for the outdoors. 🐛📚🎨

Cada viernes, trae a los niños de su programa a Adventures to Dreams para pasar un día en el jardín. 🌱☀️

Los niños corren, atrapan y observan pequeños insectos que encuentran, leen cuentos mientras toman el sol, pintan a sus personajes favoritos, y disfrutan estar al aire libre en contacto con la naturaleza. Siempre es muy lindo verlos explorar y participar en el jardín.

🥕 Planting Carrots with the Youth at Adventures to Dreams!

Step by step, kids from learned how to grow their own food from scratch — making rows in the dirt, planting carrot seeds, covering them up, and watering them in. 🌱💧

Then we took them to see a garden bed where carrots are already sprouting, so they could see exactly what their seeds will grow into. A full-circle lesson in patience, hands-on learning, and where our food really comes from!

This hands-on gardening activity is part of our Garden Adventures series at Adventures to Dreams Enrichment in Long Beach, CA — helping kids connect with nature, healthy food, and their community.
