A Better Way To Love Inc We are a community based rescue organization that provides food, clothing, education, and housing to those in need. We are in constant need of volunteers.

Growing up in Northern Oakland, and Northeast Berkley, CA, I was influenced by the peace and love movements of the 60's and 70's. Song lyrics such as "Reach Out And Touch Somebody's Hand And Make This World A Better Place If You Can" really made an impact on me. Then I'm reminded of Mahaliah Jackson who sang "It don't cost very much to the blind man if just a touch, to give a glass of water to a c

ripple man in need of such, oh you may not be an angle and you may not go to church, but the good you do sho will come back to you and it don't cost very much"'. Quickly, I learned that even the simple acts of love were powerful healing balms. Except for my rebellious days of my youth, I spent most of my life in the Service and Transportation Industry from truck driving to locomotive engineer and now, a Longshoreman. But I have no greater joy than giving the core of my heart for the enrichment of the community.

We are still looking for food, truck (for transporting food items) and freezer (for the purpose of storing food items) donations. A Better Way To Love Inc, a non profit foundation, recently distributed over 800 lbs of food to needy veterans. We are looking for donations of freezers and vans to help distribute food to those in need. Post here if you can help, or call Mr. Albert Dossman at (562)786-4404. We are a community based organization that serves as a conduit for food, education, and awareness between donors, volunteers, agencies and people in need. Veterans, Low income families, children, and the homeless. Our vision is to eliminate hunger and food waste, while improving nutrition in the communities we serve. We strive to serve them with integrity, resourcefulness, urgency and respect. We are grateful to serve God and witness the miracles we see each day. In Orange County California there are 465,000 people that are at risk for hunger. 1 in 5 school children rely on reduced lunch programs and free lunch for the two basic meals: breakfast and lunch. 35% of senior citizens in Orange County are food insecure.
