The truth is out, and it’s time to look at the facts.🛑
Even the former leadership of the Long Beach MLK Center can’t deny it—they’ve admitted publicly that our current Board Chair is doing an incredible job. Meanwhile, those same former members are doing everything they can to sabotage the center.
For decades, poor leadership left this center in a dire state. Why are people who claim to care about this community fighting so hard to keep bad leadership in place? Why put so much energy into sabotaging real, undeniable progress? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE! 🤯
Let’s talk about our kids. They are falling behind in school and they need extra help.
So tell us:
1️⃣ Why try to actively sabotage the grants funding their future?
2️⃣ Why let a child sit around doing nothing instead of getting them into an after-school program?
Parents, if you don't want your child at our center, that’s fine—but get them into an after-school program somewhere. They need the investment. Don't let politics get in the way of your child's education. 📚🔥
No matter how hard they try to block us, WE WILL NOT STOP. 🗣️ We will keep doing great work, going above and beyond, and bringing the real resources this community deserves.
