What an incredible week it has been at Camp Abilities Long Island! As we say goodbye to another amazing camp, we couldn’t be prouder of everything our athletes accomplished!
Throughout the week, our athletes gave it their all while participating in beep baseball, goalball, tandem biking, track and field, swimming, and so much more. They stepped outside their comfort zones, encouraged one another, built lasting friendships, and showed us what determination and perseverance truly look like.
To our amazing specialists, coaches, Nurse Chelsea, CIT’s, Guiding Stars, interpreters, equipment managers and daily volunteers, THANK YOU for all of your hard work and dedication throughout camp. You are the reason this camp is so successful and without you this wouldn’t be possible!
To our incredible athletes, your courage, resilience, and willingness to try new things inspired us every single day. Thank you for making this week so special. We hope you leave camp with unforgettable memories and newfound confidence.
Keep working hard, keep believing in yourselves, and remember there are no limits to what you can achieve….BELIEVE YOU CAN ACHIEVE!!
