🌴✨ The JLI National Jewish Retreat is NOT what I expected… it’s so much more!

Beila and I have had the privilege of joining a few members of our community for an incredible few days at the National Jewish Retreat.

I came expecting a beautiful resort and lots of inspiring Torah lectures 📖. What I discovered is an experience that truly brings Judaism to life!

🎶 Live concerts • 🎯 Game shows • 😂 Laughter • 🍽️ Incredible food • 💃 Dancing • 💡 Fascinating ideas — all wrapped into an authentic, joyful celebration of Jewish life.

I feel like I’ve barely sat through a “Torah class,” yet somehow I’ve been learning, thinking, laughing and experiencing Judaism all day long! ❤️

And I’ve gotta run… 🏃‍♂️🎭 We’re heading into a Broadway-style theatrical production with live actors exploring the fascinating Jewish legal and moral dilemma of ransoming captives.

And next up… Shabbat! 🕯️🍷

What an incredible reminder that Judaism isn’t just something we study — it’s something we live, experience and celebrate! ❤️🔥

And somehow… it just keeps getting better!
