Tonight's closing day #5 for the 13th Annual Long Beach ROXX NY Rock Music Festival features the return of an extraordinary global artist, Indie Musician/Singer/Songwriter/Producer/Self-Love Educator/Author/Global Activist for Humanity, Children & the Earth ...... Heidi Little!

A Bit About Heidi.....
Heidi sums up her musical journey with the following quote:
"The journey of a thousand songs starts with the first note."

A native of Canada, Heidi began playing the organ competitively when she was 5 years old and sang in the church choir. Her early teen years found her as a teen Mom and her music career came afterward. As a singer in the early 90's, she opened for punk rock bands like Green Day, ALL, Red Fisher and Big Drill Car.
Heidi recorded and put out her first full length album, which was recorded by CBC Radio Saskatchewan and aired as a full spoken word and musical performance titled “True Believer”. The album was produced with the title "Live In A She Box".

After two bouts of cancer and a "new life gift", Heidi found herself in Austin, Texas recording at Willie Nelson's studio Perdanales, and releasing a song from Willie and his daughter Amy called "A Peaceful Solution". This turned into an album that she later released in 2023 titled "PeaceLoveSpiral". A surprise phone call from Woodstock 1969 producer and Heidi's mentor, Artie Kornfeld, about her song "No More War", would come in during the album recording in 2007 called Power & Light.

While living in Upstate New York in 2012, Heidi was on a mountain top, downloading new songs of love from the universe and channeling them out to our humanity. After this occurrence International Children’s Month would come in, and her advocacy would forever change.

After 30 years, Heidi has been blessed with millions of fans and friends/family with many opportunities to showcase her work in beautiful initiatives and annual events for peace and unity. Heidi has written fourteen books on Heart Based Social Emotional Learning, and founded The Center for Advancement in Social Emotional Learning (seladvancement.org)

Heidi brings her WE ARE RISING TOUR 2025/26 to the Earth!

AND THE HITS JUST KEEP ON COMIN'......

Day 3 of the 5-day 13th Annual Long Beach ROXX NY Rock Music Festival continues tonight, Tues., Nov. 12, 2024 via Facebook Livestream at 8pm!

Tonight's featured artist is New York's super musical talent and recording studio engineer, Myles Mancuso!

EVENT LIVESTREAM TONIGHT NOV. 12th, 8pm(ET):

Myles, a former child prodigy on guitar is a multi-instrumentalist and has been playing Guitar, Keyboards, Drums and Bass since he was 10 years old. Myles has composed, performed, produced, and engineered all of the original tracks on his first four albums. His original style of music is a blend of Roots Americana and R&B, while still lending his talents to the Rock 'n' Roll genre.
Myles graduated from the Purchase Conservatory for Music in NY with a degree in Musical Performance. Not long after, he relocated to the Florida Keys where he performed up and down the Keys for a year and a half, before relocating to Nashville where he spent about 2 years gigging nightly on Broadway, at clubs like “The Stage”, Gavin DeGraw’s “Nashville Underground”, and other top venues on the historic Music Row, Broadway Strip. Myles also helped various local Nashville artists write and record tracks at a number of studios around Music City, using his musical abilities to play Bass, Drums and Keyboards for various up and coming artists in the Nashville area. Nashville made a strong impression on him, and he wanted to capture the sounds of Music City on his most recent album “Southern State of Mind”. All of the instruments and lyrics were played and written by Myles.

Myles has been fronting his own band and performing professionally for audiences since the age of ten. Due to his talent and experience at such a young age (where he was given the nickname of "MOJO MYLES"), Myles was headlining many of Manhattan‘s top venues before he graduated high school. He was recognized in 2010 by TrueFire as one of the Top 10 Guitar Prodigies in the World. He’s frequently performed on some of the top stages in New York City, such as BB Kings Club, The Brooklyn Bowl, The Iridium Jazz Club, The Cutting Room, The Village Underground, Rockwood Music Hall, Café Wha and more.
Over the course of his career, Myles has also played at popular festivals such as the Warren Haynes' Mountain Jam Festival, the Sarasota Blues Festival, Gathering of the Vibes, The New York State Blues Festival, Rochester Jazz Festival, and the Bethel Woods Blues Festival. Along with performing on well-known stages, Myles’ band has opened for a variety of national artists, such as The Allman Brothers, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Les Paul, Levon Helm and others.

Some other notable moments in Myles’ music career; in 2012 The Myles Mancuso Story was nominated for an Emmy in the Entertainment: Program Feature/Segment category. In 2010 Myles won an award from Boston's Berklee College of Music for a jazz piano performance with "The Jazz Machine" (two-time national champions of the annual High School Jazz Band Competition at the Berklee College of Music).

WHO SAID WHAT ABOUT MYLES.......
Sid Bernstein, who is best known as the promoter who brought the Beatles to America, said in an interview while promoting a show that featured Myles in NYC, "Myles is a bona fide prodigy that will thrill and captivate an audience.” Les Paul stated, "He reminds me of myself when I was a young boy.” Levon Helm, Grammy winner and legendary drummer of The Band said, "He may be a boy, but he sure plays like a man.” An audience member summed up best what many people feel after hearing Myles play, "It's like seeing a musical legend in the making”. It’s a performance you can’t miss!
