We’re here on the lawn of the US Capitol for the National Peace Officers Memorial, standing shoulder to shoulder with tens-of-thousands of other members of law enforcement, family and friends in honor and respect for those we lost in the line of duty. Shall we never forget.

Tradition, continues.

Members of LEO Weekend traveled down to Washington D.C. for National Police Week to pay their respects to all those we’ve lost in the line of duty. As we’ve done each year, our team laid a memorial wreath as a small token of appreciation and remembrance at the entrance of the memorial. Please help us is honoring and remembering our heroes by leaving a comment below.

Today begins National Police Week. A week in which we honor, remember and celebrate the men and women of law enforcement and pay immense tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Each year across the United States, thousands of law enforcement officers are seriously injured and approximately 150 never make it home to their loved ones. This is why, in 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed Public Law 87-726, officially establishing May 15th as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which it falls as National Police Week.

Respect. Honor. Remember.

We’re on our way to Police Week 2026! See you all in Washington D.C. 💙
