Last year, our 2025 Police Week shirts sold out! This year, we’ve teamed up with Kelly’s Irish Times to create a design that is ICONIC to Police Week. If you know, you know. The symbolism behind this shirt is nothing short of a true memorial to all those we’ve lost, and all those who’ve passed through the doors of Kelly’s. All proceeds to benefit the families of officers killed in the line of duty. Link below!

Last night, LEO Weekend in partnership with Bleeding Blue Inc. and Fort Lauderdale FOP Lodge 31 hosted 101 attendees to our inaugural event with the Florida Panthers as they took on the NY Rangers. Law enforcement families that have experienced immense tragedy were in attendance as we paid our respects to those who never made it home. It’s truly our honor to be able to continue spreading the mission of LEO Weekend to other states near and far.

Today, LEO Weekend had the honor of hosting in a private suite, 4 NYPD families who lost a loved one in the line of duty to the 52nd Annual FDNY vs NYPD Hockey Game at UBS Arena. What these families all have in common: sacrifice and patriotism in the face of unimaginable destruction following the attacks on September 11th, 2001. As we approach the 25th anniversary of that faithful day, we continue to vow to NEVER FORGET!

Assistant Chief Arron Edwards was locked in. Eyes on his target: a terrorist - a man inspired by ISIS who tried to cause chaos in the streets of New York City on March 7th. However, unbeknownst to him, the NYPD has men and women of all ranks who will put their lives on the line to PROTECT. Unbeknownst to him, the NYPD has seen this too many times before. Unbeknownst to him, we’ve vowed to NEVER FORGET. Unbeknownst to him, too many of our own have laid down their lives to assure peace and order. Unbeknownst to him, Chief Edwards was standing directly in front of him as he lit his explosive device.

Unbeknownst to him… but now he knows.

Last night, LEO Weekend board members had the distinct honor of attending and celebrating the marriage of Toniann Seals and Nicholas Carrases. For those of you who don’t know why this is so special, allow us to elaborate…

On Tuesday, December 10, 2019, Detective Joseph Seals of the Jersey City Police Department intercepted a stolen van wanted in connection to a homicide. During the encounter, Detective Seals was shot and mortally wounded, but not before putting over the location and description of the vehicle and occupants. This would later turn out to be a defining moment in a lengthy incident involving terrorism. Thanks to Detective Seals actions, a large scale terror plot was disrupted, causing the terrorists to rush their plans and later that day, were met head-on by members of the Jersey City Police Department and New York City Police Department, ultimately leading to their demise. Unfortunately, three additional individuals were killed by the terrorists before they met their permanent end, but the actions of Detective Joseph Seals earlier that day saved countless lives. He sacrificed his life as a true hero.

Toniann is one of Joseph’s sister, and LEO Weekend had the honor of hosting the Seals family at one of our weekend getaways in November of 2023. Since then, we’ve stayed close and have seen Toniann flourish in her life and most recently in her new career as a federal agent, following in her brother’s footsteps. An achievement we couldn’t be prouder of!

Congratulations Toniann and Nick! Cheers to many years of happiness and success.
