College and Career Academy Campuses are in Inglewood, Long Beach, Paramount, Pico-Union, South LA and Watts. In most cases, LAEC campuses are housed within their facilities. Gibson Ave.

College and Career Academy (formerly College Bridge Academy and The Education Corps) gives 14-25 yo young people a second chance at a HS diploma as well as job training. The Los Angeles Education Corps (LAEC) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that is the charter management organization overseeing College Bridge Academy (CBA) charter school and The Education Corps (TEC) charter school. LAEC's schools are fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and operate through the Inyo County Office of Education. Located in impoverished pockets of Los Angeles and Orange County that are notorious for crime, gangs and failing schools, LAEC's campuses provide an oasis for youth and young adults who understand that their value is not dictated by their environment. Students who did not finish high school (for any reason) as well as those looking for an alternative to the under-resourced schools in their neighborhoods are equally welcome. LAEC oversees its eight small, supportive learning communities in partnership with highly regarded local agencies. Together, we are actively engaging urban young people in holistic services that prepare them for a healthy, productive adulthood. Check out our locations and partners below:

Family engagement can make a difference from the first day of school to graduation. 🎒🎓

When schools welcome families, build strong relationships, and create meaningful opportunities to stay connected, students have a stronger team supporting their success.

Let’s make families partners in learning this school year.
