Musical Theatre West Footlighters Footlighters supports MTW through season ticket purchases and other events that promote the success Cast members also visit schools with excerpts from shows.

Musical Theatre West is one of Southern California's oldest regional theater companies. Now in its 62nd season, the company moved to Long Beach seventeen years ago, making the Carpenter Center Performing Arts Center its permanent home. The group produces four shows a year, each running for three weeks. Musical Theatre West is dedicated to preserving musical theater as a unique American art form an

d enriching the cultural life of Southern California through the presentation of established musicals, the development of new works, and the expansion of the Youth Cultural Enrichment Program. Youngsters are being introduced to the joy and magic of live theater through this program that provides special performances of each show for school children. Through this out-reach these children have received a positive experience that has enriched their lives. Footlighters have been dedicated to supporting Musical Theatre West's efforts to preserve musical theater while introducing children to this cultural experience for fifteen years. We welcome new members with enthusiasm! Members receive invitations to our four Music in the Morning events, which take place on Saturdays, where you and your guests can lunch, meet cast members and enjoy a preview of the upcoming show.

IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION FOR ALL CARPENTER CENTER SHOWS!

There will no longer be anyone taking money for parking at the shows, but the new system will not be difficult to manage!

Here are your three options with the most simple first:

1) Pay at a kiosk at the end of the parking aisle, closest to Carpenter Center.

YOU WILL NEED TO KNOW YOUR LICENSE PLATE NUMBER TO PAY. Use a credit card (no American Express accepted). There is one kiosk near the center and another about 75 yards south, still in the lot.

2) Download the app PARKMOBILE and pay online - NO PLANNING AHEAD TO PAY, YOU MUST PAY THE DAY OF THE EVENT ONLY.

I have included the QR code in this posting, so you can activate the camera on your smart phone and get the app that way. Or, find it in your app store (Apple App Store or Google Play)

3) Pay the roving person when you arrive and park - they might be hard to find.

This will take the longest and is probably the most difficult option

Or, have a friend drop you off & pick you up or use a ride service. But remember that you CAN use the new system I BELIEVE IN YOU! ❤️👍😊
