Bixby Highland Clean Streets A local group dedicated to beautifying the Bixby Highland neighborhood. The rules are simple:
1. Please no selling or trading on the page.

Bixby Highland Clean Streets is a group dedicated to improving and maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the Bixby Neighborhood. No "Gaslighting" (Denying something the other person knows is true, spreading rumors about them, and blaming the victim.) If you have a contrary opinion, state facts or take it offline.
3. No name calling.
4. Keep your comments and posts civil.
5. This is not a po

litical page, but it is understood that sometimes local issues are political. If you engage in a local political discussion, refer to reminders 2, 3, 4.
6. No campaigning or campaign posts (City, County, State, National)

CLEAN STREETS IS COMING - WATCH OUT ORANGE AVENUE!!!
JOIN US Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026 for our 2nd Saturday Clean Streets event. It is a constant battle to keep Orange Avenue cleaned up, especially our stretch between Del Amo and Carson (and points beyond when we have enough volunteers). We do weekly cleanups, minimum, when/where we can, and sponsor these larger neighborhood events to try to get as many people out to pick up as much trash as possible. We have two locations to choose from. We provide all the gear - and DONUTS too! See you there!

We're taking on trash where we live along the Orange Avenue corridor from Del Amo to Carson and points beyond - it depends on YOU coming out to help make our community a cleaner and safer place to live!

Only an hour of your time makes a HUGE difference!

CLEAN STREETS DID A NUMBER ON ORANGE TODAY!
Teams from Bixby Highland Clean Streets and Ridgewood/Bixby Knolls Clean Streets and Cal Heights Clean Streets came together to make mincemeat out of the trash that continues to plague our neighborhood. Despite regular picks by the Trash Hags, the litter and human discards just seem to keep growing. We know it's better than it used to be, but it's far from where we want it to be!

We'd love for you to join us for another pick soon. Ridgewood has another event on the July 25th, and we'll be out again in force at both locations on our next 2nd Saturday event Aug. 8, 2026. We cannot stress enough the gratitude and appreciation for all the volunteers who make these events possible, who come out regularly to help us make our community a cleaner and safer place to live.
