Very thankful to have represented F&W today. The Lord allowed for a good representing. We will hopefully get some exposure on the New Orleans Track Club site. If you want a shirt to represent F&W, please let us know.

When people see anything about me (Charles "Charlie" Wambolt) running, I want that to simply be a reminder that running/racing is symbolic of our life. We should be running with a purpose. Ours is to serve fatherless and widows. My hope with running to raise awareness is that we will be reminded to check on fatherless and widows in our own lives. I remember this guy who ran for Fatherless and Widows. His message was that running & racing represents life itself. Don't discount the smallest of things. Do something/anything. Listening to them is perhaps the biggest step forward. Listen.

I think the widow you see in the background of the runners is the one Amos was delivering to in this picture.

We will soon be sending funds again for gift packages in this poor village in Kenya. This village is where one of our board members is from. We know these people personally as I have been twice. We have an accountability team there who have done a great job at keeping us informed as to the distribution of funds.
