This March through June, join us for the 23rd Annual Shoe Drive! 🥿👠👡👢👞👟🥾

Over the past 22 years, we have helped collect and donate over 100,000 pairs of shoes to help those in need. This year with your help, we can continue to provide proper footwear to get children and adults back on their feet.

We believe as you do too- that no person, regardless of age, race, gender, or income level, be without a decent pair of shoes.

If you would like to donate your gently worn shoes to help those in need, you can drop them off at Kim Holistic Foot & Ankle Center located at 701 E. 28th Street, Suite #111 Long Beach, CA 90806. Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 9 AM- 12:30 PM and 2 PM- 5:30 PM.

Thank you, Carolin, for your helpl!When you buy a new pair of shoes, don’t trash your old ones - many local organizations, such as Kim Foot Foundation, accept donated footwear.
Remember to tie them together in pairs as they can easily get separated and single shoes can’t be donated.

How was it in 2004? For three months, the Shoe Drive Team makes weekly trips to our sponsors to collect the shoes donated. Sometimes we visit our sponsors several times a week to collect shoes! We collect shoes until our storage unit is filled to the ceiling!

How was it in 2011? 14TH ANNUAL SHOE DRIVE & KFAC 20TH BIRTHDAY FIESTA. An amazing turnout this year with even more to celebrate. August 10th we had lots of food, drinks, gift drawings, participant recognition certificates, live music by “Cathedral” and even a Birthday Pinata for the kids. Our Shoe Drive Story
It started as a vision, while doing free podiatry care for the impoverished areas of Mexico, Dr. Kim noticed that many of the foot problems suffered by these patients could have been eliminated if they just had the proper protection — shoes!
In 1997, Dr. Kim decided that collecting used shoes from his patients and colleagues would be a great way to obtain shoes for those less fortunate in Mexico and Los Angeles. Then the idea of the Kim Foot & Ankle Shoe Drive was born!
The purpose of the shoe drive has also been, that no person, regardless of age, race, gender, or income level, be without a decent pair of shoes.

A Long Beach doctor, who has led a shoe drive for nearly 20 years, has collected and given away approximately 100,000 pairs of shoes to those in need across the Southland.

👣 Kim Holistic Foot & Ankle Center has started its 21st Annual Charity Event. Please bring your shoes and help people in need and kids in Mexico.
‼️Last year one of the locations where KimFoot DONATED a lot of shoes was San Quintin community (Baja California, Mexico). More than 300 people (mostly kids) came and picked up a shoes to keep warm all year. Truly, shoes brought smiles. There are over 1,000 families and they work at farms ($19 dollars is average payment per day). So your help is important.
