Come on down and play some futsal this Friday (and every Friday) evening from 6-9 PM, located in the West Lot at 1BL (the old SK8 lot). What is futsal, you ask? It's 5 vs. 5 mini-soccer, and is a lot of fun even for those who have never played soccer before. Not sure about playing? Come on down and check it out!

Just a reminder that we are going to go see The Hobbit (part 2) at Pacific Theaters at the Lakewood Mall today at 4:15 PM. Meet at 1BL / Lakewood SK8 at 2 if you want to get some food before, or just meet us by 4 at the theaters. Message, call, text Justin for more info.

Any and all 1BL / Lakewood SK8 students, friends and parents are invited to join us at the Pacific Theaters at the Lakewood Mall (5200 Faculty Ave, Lakewood, CA 90712) to watch The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug with us at 4:15 PM today (Sunday, December 29th, 2013). Meet up at 1BL / Lakewood SK8 at 2:00 PM if you want to go get some food before the movie. Better yet, come to church at 10:45 AM (trust me, it's awesome!) and hang out after church until the movie. The Boys & Girls Club of Cypress has been a longtime supporter and donor of Lakewood SK8. During our competitions they have provided much-needed support in the form of technology. Please vote for this photo (and this photo only) and share, share, share!

Your vote can help shine a light on the real-life heroes and mentors who work with kids every day in afterschool programs across the country. One lucky program with the most votes will be eligible to win $2000 in cash and three programs will win $1000 in cash.
