WOW! It's the new school year already and a friendly gnome let me know they left some gardening treats at the school! Dylan's garden has a few new plants, LED lights, and various decor added. Hope you can spot the new additions...and more to come (like the yellow and red tulips next spring that they planted)!

Closing out this week-long outpouring of appreciation, tomorrow is another chance for students to leave a note of appreciation.

We encourage parents/students to write one or two of the following on a piece of paper (or similar medium of your choosing), to be added to their teacher's appreciation jars.

* A favorite memory of the school year so far
* Something interesting they learned so far that they are excited about
* A compliment for their teacher. For example, "I like how you decorated our classroom!"

Simply include these in your child(ren)'s backpacks tomorrow and be sure to remind them to drop them off in the teacher's jar!

Reminder for tomorrow, as part of teacher appreciation week we encourage those that can to donate some fun office supplies (color pens, sticky notes, stickers, fun paperclips) to their class.

Also remember, this week any of these daily suggestions (or others you may have) are welcomed. Please don't hesitate if you miss a "deadline" to participate as works for your family.

A friendly reminder as I know parents and their kiddos can have some busy schedules!

To celebrate our teachers and reinforce SeaSTAR values, today we encouraged parents/students to write a note of appreciation to their teacher.

Did you or your child forget? Well, it's not too late to add to their appreciation jars this week so they can be given any time.

Also, tomorrow May 7th we encourage students to bring a flower for their teacher. They can pick one from their yard or purchase to help build a class bouquet!

As a reminder, for Monday May 6th we're asking students of LBE to take some time over this weekend to write a note of appreciation to their teacher to put in their appreciation jar. You can also have your kiddo draw a picture or record a video message and share through Seesaw!
