OCGDA is a group of guide dog puppies-in-training and their puppy raisers who live in and around the Orange County, California area.

GDA/TLC area groups from Orange County, Long Beach, and Huntington Beach had a fun time at the Long Beach Airport today. We got to go through security and practice our skills walking through the crowded airport.

Yellow lab Josie from the HB group has been selected as a breeder. Siblings Jenny and Jessi are off to college !
Orange County black lab Judo has graduated, and joins his new partner as a Veteran Service Dog! Great job pups and raisers !

Check out these cute pups new to the Orange County group! Meet black lab Oliver and yellow lab Muesli. They have been enjoying their first couple weeks with their new families and have started PK! Best of luck you two cuties on your mission to become service dogs!

We are proud to announce that Orange County Dogs Maddex and Bodie will be graduating this Saturday! Both dogs will be autism service dogs. Maddex, yellow lab, was raised by Krissy Krueger. Bodie, black lab, was raised by Kirk and Kelly Brunke and family. Graduation will be live at the Sylmar campus, or you can watch it on Facebook live beginning at 10:00 am PST.

We also wanted to recognize Bruin from the Huntington Beach group! Bruin will also be graduating as an Autism Service Dog! Bruin was raised by Maggie and Drew Byers. Congrats Team Bruin!

Puppies in training from Orange County, Huntington Beach, Long Beach, and Torrance groups are half-way through Advanced obedience class with Tammy New. They have been working on paw pads, loose leash walking, distractions, and settling. Today Tammy set up several tables and the pups had to settle under the tables while the handlers decorated Easter cookies. Each week Tammy sets up new and fun challenges for the pups. Thank you Tammy!
