Thank you to everyone who joined our recent Creators Lab session.

Participants shared their interests in filmmaking, acting, animation, music, editing, and storytelling, along with the importance of networking, hands-on learning, mentorship, and real on-set experience. They also discussed opportunities they want to see in the creative economy, including paid creative work, stronger industry connections, access to professional spaces and equipment, and clearer pathways into entertainment and media careers.

These conversations are helping us design a program that reflects real experiences, real goals, and real pathways for the next generation of creators.

This is just the beginning.

Join us for our upcoming Creators Lab session and help shape the future of ASCEND.

Happy National Creativity Day! 🎨🌎🖌️🎭

May 30th marks an annual celebration of the ability to translate imagination into reality. Today serves as a powerful reminder to dream without limits, think creatively, and rise above the ordinary.

ASCEND is built on that same belief.

Through mentorship, hands-on learning, and real-world creative experiences, AllieKits Network is helping young women develop their voices, strengthen their creative skills, and explore pathways in the creative industry.

This is a great opportunity for young women in Long Beach and the surrounding communities to meet peers in their field and learn more about our program and upcoming opportunities.
