Lighthouse Prison Ministry

Sometimes we make faith more complicated than it needs to be.

God reminds us of three simple things:
Do what is right.
Love people well.
Walk humbly with Him.

Not perfectly.
Not loudly.
Not for recognition.

Just faithfully. ❤️🙏🏽

What a beautiful day at Anchor House! 💜

We were so blessed to be part of this special Recovery Month celebration and to connect with so many incredible people and organizations.

We had the opportunity to meet men and women from Anchor House, hear powerful and inspiring testimonies of recovery and hope, and connect with individuals who are interested in volunteering and partnering with Lighthouse Prison Ministry.

Most of all, we were reminded that real people, real stories, and real possibilities are what ministry is all about. 🙏🏽

Thank you to everyone who welcomed us, shared their stories, and took the time to connect with us. We look forward to seeing where God leads these new relationships!

Meet some of the amazing women behind Lighthouse Prison Ministry! 💜

These are just a few of the incredible volunteers who give their time, hearts, and talents to serve women through our Women’s Lifeskills Program.

They show up with compassion, encouragement, and a genuine desire to help women discover that their past does not have to define their future.

We are so grateful for every volunteer who says YES to serving, YES to encouraging, and YES to being the hands and feet of Jesus. 🙏🏼

Thank you, Debra, Rachel, Karen, and all of our LPM volunteers! We couldn’t do this without you. 💜

2026 Third Quarter Newsletter - LIGHTHOUSE PRISON MINISTRY -

When Jesus declared, "I was in prison and you came to visit Me" (Matthew 25:36), He forever changed the way I viewed those behind prison walls. The incarcerated are not forgotten by God, nor are they beyond His grace. They are men and women created in His image, loved by their Creator, and worthy of...

Every now and then, God gives us a beautiful reminder of why we go behind the prison walls.

A former participant, who was incarcerated and ministered to, recently shared these words with us.

This is the fruit. 🙏🏽

The transformation.
The peace.
God at work.

We may enter the prison walls not knowing what will come from our time there, but we trust God with every person we encounter.

What a blessing to see that the ministry continues long after we leave. ❤️

“I was in prison and you visited me.” — Matthew 25:36

This is why we go. This is why we serve. 🕊️

At Lighthouse Prison Ministry, we believe in meeting the spiritual and practical needs of those we serve, following the model Jesus gave us.

Part of that mission is helping connect people with resources and opportunities that can help them take steps toward a new beginning.
