(FCI) provides outreach and education, as well as emergency and long-term housing, for victims of human trafficking. We also provide intervention classes and resources to women who have been arrested or sexually exploited. Our mission is to rescue, restore, educate and bring hope to victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Our vision is to empower and equip individuals, families, and communities by breaking the cycle of sexual exploitation through partnerships and community awareness.

Behind every number is a person.

According to the CDC's latest National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey, nearly 43.5 million women and 20.7 million men in the United States have experienced contact sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner during their lifetime.

And for some survivors, violence and control can become part of a much larger pattern of exploitation.

We cannot prevent what we refuse to see.

Online safety is part of keeping young people safe.

Children and teens spend so much of their lives online, and not everyone they encounter has good intentions. Grooming can happen gradually through messages, attention, trust, or requests that may seem harmless at first.

Talk with your child about who they interact with online, what they share, and how their online experiences make them feel. Most importantly, create a safe space where they know they can come to you without fear or judgment.

Safety starts with trust, communication, and staying connected, online and offline.

FCI was honored to join a community press conference hosted by the District Attorney’s Office, the City of Compton, the City of Lynwood, and our community partner Restoration Diversion Services (RDS).

Our staff stood alongside many of our partners to raise awareness about human trafficking and connect community members with resources. We’re grateful for every opportunity to work together to bring hope and support to those who need it.
