Meet Catherine, who received the Resident Spotlight Award at the recent Villages Community Meeting! 🌟

Catherine participates in activities and events at Anchor Place and across the CVC campus and she encourages others to join in, too. Her kindness and sense of humor have a way of making others feel welcome and supported. 💙

She also uses her voice to bring awareness to community needs and share ideas that can help make CVC an even stronger community.

We’re grateful for the energy, compassion, and community spirit she brings to those around her!

Congratulations to Ri’Chard for earning the Youth Spotlight Award at the recent Villages Community Meeting! 🌟

Since joining our youth program at the beginning of 2026, Ri’Chard has brought so much joy, laughter, and positivity to our After School Program family!

As part of our Littles program, Ri'Chard has quickly become a wonderful role model and helper. Whether he’s lending a hand to another participant or volunteering at a CVC community event, he is always ready to help and give back. 💙

His kind heart and positive attitude make him a special part of our community. We’re so proud to watch Ri'Chard grow, lead, and make a positive impact on those around him!

Today is the day!

Century Villages at Cabrillo is working to raise support for our cooking, gardening, and therapeutic activities through our Occupational Therapy program.

At CVC, we believe a home is the foundation—and that meaningful opportunities to build skills, confidence, relationships, and independence can help residents truly thrive.

Your donation can help provide:

🥕 Ingredients for cooking groups
🌱 Seeds, soil, and garden tools
🎨 Supplies for therapeutic activities
💛 Adaptive equipment that supports greater independence

Every donation brings us closer to our goal.

Whether you give $25, $75, $125, $300, or whatever amount is meaningful to you, your support makes a difference. Donate today: https://www.longbeachgives.org/organization/Century-Villages-At-Cabrillo

Thank you for helping our residents grow, connect, and thrive.

Sometimes picking up a paintbrush or pen and paper can be the first step toward building confidence, expressing yourself, and connecting with others.

At Century Villages at Cabrillo, our OT program creates opportunities for residents to explore creativity through art and other therapeutic activities.

This Long Beach Gives, help us raise money to keep these meaningful activities going!

At Century Villages at Cabrillo, art is more than making something beautiful, it’s an opportunity to express, connect, build confidence, and have fun.
Through our OT program, residents participate in creative and therapeutic activities that encourage self-expression, meaningful routines, and connection with their community.

This Long Beach Gives, we’re raising money to support cooking, gardening, art, and other therapeutic activities for our residents.
Create. Connect. Grow. Thrive.

Only 3 days to go!

We’re on a mission to raise money for Century Villages at Cabrillo’s Occupational Therapy program!
This year, your support will directly benefit our Occupational Therapy program, helping provide cooking, art classes, gardening, and other therapeutic activities for residents.

These activities may seem simple, but they can have a meaningful impact.

🌱 A garden can become a place to build healthy routines.
🍳 A cooking group can become a place to practice independence.
🤝 A shared meal can become a place to build friendships and community.

With your help, we can continue creating opportunities for residents to grow, connect, and thrive.

📅 Long Beach Gives Day: Thursday, September 24

Help us get closer to $2,500! Every donation counts:

What an incredible day at the 2026 CVC Summer Festival: Cirque de Cabrillo! Residents, staff, partners, and friends came together for an afternoon filled with fun and connection. More than a summer festival, it was a celebration of the people who make Century Villages at Cabrillo such a special place.

This event would not have been possible without our staff and planning team, whose hard work behind the scenes brought it all to life.

We were proud to welcome our generous sponsors and partners, including the Port of Long Beach, along with 22 exhibitors who shared valuable resources, information, and giveaways with our residents.

A special shoutout to Black Knight Patrol for donating summer treats and ice cream—and congratulations to all of our raffle winners!

🎨 What does home mean to you?

For some, home is a place. For others, it’s a feeling, a person, a memory, or a sense of belonging.

Our CVC residents explored this idea through art, and now we’re excited to share their work with you!

Join us for our Community Art Gallery, in partnership with the Long Beach Public Library, and see what “What Home Means to Me” looks like through the eyes of our residents.

Come by, check out the artwork, support our artists, and enjoy some refreshments with us!
