The Belmont Shore Residents Association was established in 1927 as the Belmont Shore Improvement Association. The BSRA is a non-profit, volunteer organization, dedicated to maintaining and improving the Belmont Shore residential community through communication and unified action. The BSRA works diligently to foster a sense of neighborhood collaboration and goodwill and is the only Belmont Shore as
sociation dedicated strictly to promoting the residents' interests. Throughout the years, many of our residents and city officials have freely given their time and effort to make Belmont Shore a place of value and pride. Please keep in mind, we are always looking for residents' opinions and offers to volunteer. BSRA Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at the Bay Shore Library (corner of Bay Shore and 2nd Street). Meetings begin at 6:00 PM and must conclude by 8:00 PM due to the Library's limited hours. NOTE: Currently, while COVID-19 is a concern, we are meeting online via Zoom. Meetings are conducted by the BSRA Executive Board (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and seven members at large). An agenda is prepared prior to the meeting, though additional topics for discussion may be proposed by anyone in attendance. Guest speakers provide insight into current Shore projects, topics and concerns, and reports from East Division Police Commander, 3rd District Council representation, business, and community representatives round out the evening.
